Woohoo, official off-topic thread!

The way they've been writing Spider-Man lately would produce that feeling in anyone... Old Spider-Man was awesome though. I don't like Super Man or a lot of DC comics because they go so far overboard with so many of their heroes.

Which is one reason the City of Heroes/Villains game is really cool for me, all the player characters are portrayed as kind of B class heroes but by the end of the game you're saving time, space, dimensions and every major hero in the verse, or as a villain messing up all of the above.

I will admit that a lot of why I like Peach and Zelda so much is because they were both originally redheads. And red-haired characters were rare, so I was like "😱 They have red hair like me!"

Ganondorf stole the Trident from the Pyramid and was thus exiled by the Gerudo, but the Trident granted him vast powers over darkness and transformed him into his demon "beast" form.

Well, this is why I don't count FS games. They're just plain inconsistent with the rest of the plot.

I wouldn't say inconsistent so much as occurring before the most recognizable elements of the series appeared, chronologically speaking. The Four Sword trilogy tells a much older tale with an older enemy than Ganondorf.

As far as I'm concerned, they have to be counted because they're official Nintendo games, unlike the Phillips games and the TV show. Simply saying they're non-canon is giving up.

They deserve their own alternate universe. >|

I did not know that about the Trident at all. But I never played Four Swords Adventures. Wanted to though, looked like fun.

eh, like I said, I think the FS games are AU or something.

Having Ganon alive long enough to be sealed away before hand and not even be his usual sealed evil in a can batshit insane self from the later games is.. Well, a really large plot hole. Especially with no mention of it whatsoever.

also, Skyward Sword is supposed to be pre-OoT.
