It's just something my one of my D&D friends has thought of: When size increases linearly, weight increases exponentially. It's why you don't see large birds like ostriches flying around. They're too big for their wings to be able to lift them off the ground.
I've played D&D, and yeah, that's sort of it. When you go up one size category, your weight is multiplied by 8 times, IIRC. That's just the mechanic, though.
Also, this:

Good to know there's at least one other D&D savvy person around the VGVS. 🙂
Get Crysis. 131
But like in all seriousness, I am very impressed with that game. I underestimated it because the mega high system requirements led me to believe that it was all flash and no substance, but, underneath the sexy graphics it's actually a really solid and refreshing game as far as shooters go.
Recently got DragonAge for the PC as well, but, it's kicking my ass. I'm not very good at RPG strategy. Never have been.

Play as a mage. Unlock Arcane Warrior.
At this point you can uninstall the game and stop playing, because you my friend have just won the entire game.
Seriously though, mages are by far the best class, and an Arcane Warrior is absolute broken.
I beat the final boss without any visible decrease in my health, I only had to auto-attack it and when it got far away cast my ossum spells.

I'm playing as a sword/shield human warrior. I always start off Bioware RPG's as a soldier class because they're usually the simplest; dump mega points into stamina/constitution and strength and don't worry about special abilities.
Having a hard time, though. And what makes it even worse is that I haven't even progressed that far yet, lol. I'm still on the Templar ritual quest in the beginning, and I've already only lost everyone in my party.
