EDIT: Broken printer, looks like I'm going to have to read a whole 3 page biography on the monitor. 😐

I've read entire books on my monitor. You'll be just fine.

So any of you plan to buy the two campaign expansions, Legacy of the void and Heart of the swarm?

Aye, when they come along. Probably get them in special edition versions as well for completion.

I'm too poor for collector's editions, if I get the money I will purchase all three. Especially the Zerg expansion.

<3 Kerrigan.

Oh hell yes, I will buy them.

To any who don't want to venture into the Gears 3 thread because of my silly rants, I just want let you know that you should...

Starting tomorrow, Epic will bring two shirts in the Avatar Market on Xbox Live. If you choose the Save Carmine shirt, you're voting Clayton Carmine to live but if you choose the Carmine Must Die shirt, you're voting for his death. You won't be able to know what Carmine's fate will be until Gears of War 3 is released. Also, the money used to purchase either shirt will be donated to the Childs Play Charity.

Fot the love of all that's badass, vote for Carmine to not die.

Just wanted to say, e-books are an oxy-moron and they do not deserve to exist.

Reading an actual book is far better than reading an e-book. Not to mention, easier on the eyes too.

That said, I salute you for reading entire books on your monitor.

I more or less agree with what you just said, but I didn't have access to hard copies of the books, so I had to make due.

Reading stuff on the monitor is not difficult at all.

And while I vastly prefer reading actual books, I love ebooks as well. With those I can read while I'm drawing or knitting and hence need my hands and can't hold the book nor turn the pages.

I would looooove to have an ebook reader. So much more convenient to carry around with me than always checking to see if books will fit in my purse.

So...yeah. That's how you make a wall of text.

Fair enough. I suppose e-books are rather convenient at times.

Still don't deserve to exist.

Anyone literate person with proper/aided sight should have no difficulty reading something on a monitor. 313

I have no problems reading pages at times. Reading e-books are a different issue though. I prefer to hold a book and read it, as opposed to staring at a screen and reading the same book as a .pdf.

I don't know about you, but I'd much rather have an actual book, as opposed to an electronic item that could get misplaced/stolen/spoilt. Meh. Granted, e-book readers give e-books another reason to exist.

I read most of those 4 posts of yours. Despite not getting much of the Twilight stuff. 😐

Giving new meaning to "too much ****ing time on hand".

Eh, I guess my eyes just aren't used to reading a filled page on a monitor.

Well, personally, I do have issues reading stuff that's very high contrast. Black on white in large amounts tends to be too harsh for me. That's part of why I use the SW skin on here - white on grey isn't as bad and doesn't give me headaches. Since the text is larger on most ebooks, though, it doesn't give me problems.

Also, the rest of your post is proof you didn't actually read the rest of mine. Because I pretty clearly said that I prefer regular books, but ebooks can be much more convenient.

And if you're worried about electronic devices that could be misplaced/stolen/ruined, may as well get rid of your phone, mp3 player, any handheld game systems you may have, etc.

If you like zombies, go watch Highschool of the Dead right now. It looks like its gonna be a really epic anime. There's only 4 or 5 episodes out right now because its new, but it's pretty good so far. I'm watching the 3rd right now. πŸ˜„

And Pyron's bigger then the Andromeda galaxy

mhmm

I must say after beating fable 2 just once in three days the game was an epic letdown from the first one. The enemies were so lackluster, (though the Commandant was cool), the lack of medieval armor killed it, the story was nowhere near as good, and I hated the general look of the hero this time. I played as the boy, obviously.

Still I enjoy the fable series but part 1 blows part 2 out of the water.

My apologies. Though I must ask, where in my post did I imply you preferred e-books?

Seeing as those items don't exactly 'replace' books, nor are primarily intended to work with e-books, I don't see your point.

TTGL uses galaxies as Shurikens 313

You sure he is just not using galactic Shurikens? It is a common mistake.
