However, I have to say this: America has a lazy top-tier mentality. Everyone thinks, "Well, if my main doesn't work, I'll just go Meta Knight." This has caused us to fail to develop other characters' metagames and as a result no one knows matchups like they should.
This is exactly why I'm able to keep up (in Melee) with people like LoZR and Dr. Pee Pee with characters like Zelda. 😐 We need more matchup knowledge.
