IN THE ORIGINAL MONSTER HUNTER FRANK WELKER VOICED THE MONSTERS!!!

Is that pitiful argument a serious one, or are you joking?

Frank Welker is, first of all, THE voice of Freddy from Scooby Doo, voicing nearly every version of the character.

Oh, and MEGATRON.

In Disney's Alladin, he was Abu, Rajah (The tiger), and the mutha****ing CAVE OF WONDERZ.

Oh, and apparently he was Dr. Claw in Inspector Gadget. Neat.

Frank Welker has at the least the same range as Mel Blanc, probably more, and his vocal work goes beyond voices, even realistically voicing animals.

Did not wish this to be buried.

New Castlevania looks awesome. I can't believe it's a reboot too. That's ballsy.

Doesn't matter. Frank Welker's range beats Mel Blanc's on his best day.

Welker's Dr. Claw voice his his Soundwave voice, unmodulated.

Exactly the same in Revenge of the Fallen, which was depressing.

His new Megatron voice for Prime, though, it's amazing.

Do you expect him to use a different voice for every character?

In terms of range, Frank Welker blows EVERY voice actor out of the water.

Although Scott McNeil wins points by being a seemingly awesome gai to chill with.

Why has Gilbert Gottfried not played The Penguin? It seems so perfect.

Though I did kinda like Danny Devito's Penguin.

It's not that it was the same voice, it's that they got Welker for the movie and then Soundwave's voice wasn't even modulated properly.

Scott McNeil, as far as I can tell, is clinically insane and bleeds epic instead of blood.

DeVito's Penguin was awesome.

Santa's Little Helper from the Simpsons too.

Oh, sorry, misunderstood.

Indeed, at Metrocon, a fan asked him to eat a cookie-dorito sandwich, with spray cheese in between each stuffz. He thought it would taste disgusting, but LOVED it, and continued eating it the duration of the con thingy... Hm, not my most eloquent post.

But can he do any of this in a coma? 😐 If not, Mel Blanc wins. More featz, maybe fewer items.

I can confirm this from personal experience.

The year I met him at ACen was the year that we did this skit in the masquerade (yes, the sound sucks, that's because the floor mics didn't work). He's one of the judges and we see him singing and dancing along at one point. Which was awesome in itself.

Later on, after I've changed out of my costume, he recognizes me. Now, in that costume, I had people I was friends with not recognize me. We won second place for that skit, so he was asking me if that was really us singing (yes, we just pre-recorded it) and how long we practiced (beyond recording that...since the morning before). He is very impressed by that fact, and then we proceed to spend the next half-hour chilling out in the hallway, talking to him, and he was like "got anything you want me to sign while I'm here?", so I got my program book signed and my sister her badge. And we took pictures with him but I can't find those. He kept using my sister's head as an armrest.

But yes, he is epic and awesome and insanely nice. He always spends conventions just chilling out with congoers and stuff. Not the epic escape ninja that Nabeshin is (he always manages to wind up with an IRT vest and radio at ACen), but is very laid back and awesome to talk to. I really hope we get him back at ACen soon, I don't think he's been since 2004. And I kind of want to see GK's brain short out when he gets to meet him πŸ˜›

Considering Frank at his best is better than Mel at his best, presumably he could. I cannot prove this though, because no force in the universe can put Frank Welker in a coma.
