Woohoo, official off-topic thread!

I don't mind them, but the activity on such threads is so low, they just get phased out very quickly... I did a few C&C based ones last year, and people got through about 10 posts and lost interest.

A few years ago, I did some Duke Nukem enemies vs say... Doom enemies I think? and I didn't even get a response...

Although, I did a Yautja vs Elites (Halo) thread long before the ban on non-videogame characters rule came in, and that was awsome, as was the Elites vs the 501st legion.... Ah, good threads.

I can't do military forces styled vs here anymore because of the group rule.... I tried once and got chewed out for it.

I dunno where to start...

Military stuff can still be done, it just has to be specified that each side is working as a unified team and it has to be as evenly matched as possible. I'd have done a Space Pirates vs. Elites thread by now if I knew more about the Elites.

This would be spite... even if the space pirates couldn't use their warships.

For some reason the art of the characters reminds me of Sonic. And the gameplay reminds me of Tomba, as well. What with throwing being such a big part of it and all.

Yeah, there was some not that popular game with a guy that had weird guns like that. One of them was the shark gun, it shot out fins that traveled through the ground and when they got to an enemy a shark popped up they ate them.

There was also a gun that he stuck in the ground that flipped the ground upside down, 'causing every enemy to fall into the sky.

Oh yeah that came on tv once. Nothing of the game held appeal besides those two weapons.
