I think Batman is a quite a compelling character if written well. Of course he more often than not isn't written well.

I thought Batman Begins was a quite good movie though. Maybe better than The Dark Knight.

Well Batman beat him in Marvel vs. DC. Another time they fought equally, though Batman thought that Cap would probably win out eventually. Not that it matters, none of those things are canon anyways. Besides, Cap is superhuman.

I don't get to actually read comics, but from what I understand his only real superhuman attribute is a bullet time reaction speed. Stamina, Strength and Speed are comic Peak Human.

From what else I understand, Cap has survived many more bullet wounds before. Reasoning dictates the death at the end of the Civil War was heavily PIS ridden and only there for the sake of a good ending to the storyline.

He is peak human at everything but has a couple superhuman body functions which enable him to be superior to what is possible for a human.

And Captain America and Batman aren't immune to bullets, either could be killed by them. They just haven't been yet.

I would say that fighting the Hulk and Thanos with just a shield and not being killed instantly is more PIS ridden than dying from a sniper round.

I dislike Batman and Cap equally though, so whatever.
