Warhammer actually stole was uninspired by many sci-fi elements. Starship troopers, Aliens, etc. Starcraft stole was in turn inspired by Warhammer.

My sig has nothing to do with Stargate. Again, the SG Universe might not be the best around, but the shows are infinitely better and more entertaining than anything that has(and likely ever will) come out of 40K.

40k has directly influenced much of popular modern sci-fi. Shit, they pretty much established the space marine as we know it.

Oh man, I just love it how extremely butthurt everyone gets when you mention 40K is crap. The universe is pretty good, the tabletop game is utter shite, the DoW games are passable.
