Everyone's opinion varies but he also liked fable 2 which was complete and utter garbage. Dragonage 2 isn't that bad but it doesn't come close to the magic and mystique of the first.

I thought those things were in just about every dungeon in that game.

Yes, in some parts. It's also more-or-less impossible if you missed at least two seemingly optional items beforhand.

I got stuck on the Deku tree personally. Though, I was six at the time.
