I find that cool ๐So what you're saying is that because we don't know what it looks like, we are going to assume that it can look like a human and under that premise assume that anything unknown is not a vast deviance from what we've come to know as of terrestrial nature?
So what you're REALLY saying is that mankind have no hope of thinking up an entirely unique and original alien life form. The moment we give it an abstract appearance it is either one of two things:
1) Without form or with form of unknown true appearance within which lies the possibility of terrestrial nature resemblance.
2) With form albeit due to the fact that it's physical of flesh, metal or energy it is not original in the sense that all things can be inspired from Earth.
. . . ? ๐
You're pretty much saying "No. We can not think of anything original"
Not that it must look human, just that for those beings we cant see theres no way to say weather it is or isn't... but seeing as we haven't given them images its safe to say we aint got a clue how to draw something non-earthy.
1) Its gotta have an appearance to.. have an appearance.
2) Ish, main point was that we cant come up with things with a non-earth anatomy.
"No. We can not think of anything original" Basically :3 We've yet to create something thats anatomy or code isnt from Earth. I'm sure if life formed on another planet there'd be a small chance that the things there would look reminiscent to the creatures here.
