You know, Genesis did pretty good in his fight with Sephiroth. People make it out like it wasn't even close. They also leave out how Angeal distracted G at least two times and prevented Genesis from pressing the attack.
There's no question Sephiroth is superior as based on both his origin and the fact he's stated to be the greatest SOLDIER ever but the gap between teh two is not that big at this point.
