I think it was originally a glitch that Nintendo put in all the games because it was funny. Agahnim's blasts in ALttP can be reflected with a bug catching net. Ganondorf in Twilight Princess can be stunned with the Fishing Rod.

Comes with these AR Cards I highly suggest looking into them when you guys get your own. 😐
