Aren't Space Marines genetically enhanced? Its not a stretch to assume they'd all be around the same level physically. Now in terms of equipment, you'd definately have a point.

They aren't because even though they have the same baseline, they have different skills and focuses. Some people are better swordsmen, marksmen, or have different levels of psychic ability.

I wouldn't assume that Jango Fett is on the same level as every clone either.

Grey Knights are, to a man, better than other Space Marines.

Each one is a powerful psyker, for one. Each one can increase their physical attributes using their psychic power, for another.

All very arbitrary.

If a normal Space Marine can take a bolter round to the face without blinking like Nemebro-sama indicates, I wonder how steel swords would give them so much as a paper cut in the hands of measly humans.

For the same reason a butter knife can go through a bullet proof vest but a bullet can't? Dunno.

I am curious what he read in the codex that makes him think this, though. Page number pleeease.

Also, uh, Ceramite is kind of, a LAWT harder than steel. 😐

No seriously, a lasgun very rarely does jack shit to a Space Marine in power armour, which can punch through two meters of concrete.

Now, if the thousands of sword wielding douchebags did something like, crush the Grey Knight under the weight of their dead bodies, that would be more understandable.

So I pretty much slept all day...

I would just like to revel in the fact that Nemebro has IN FACT, failed to find this instance of bolter rounds bouncing off of people.

I, on the other hand, have multiple sources that show space marines being one shotted by giant ants, dudes armed with bows, and lasguns.

Come at me.
