Except the Gundam versions have more varied combat, characters I give a shit about, the coolness factor of giant mecha battles, and actual new content in each game, instead of being the same thing over and over based on a 600-year-old novel I've never read.

And 3 includes pretty much all my favorite Gundams from the series I've seen.
