His voice is laughable.

Laughably erotic perhaps.

No, because he's better than Ezio.
Altair is a ****ing piece of cardboard.

๐Ÿ˜

Ezio is a walking cliche.

Altair was at least interesting.

His character arc was 'Was an *******. Isn't anymore.' ๐Ÿ˜

Ooooooh interesting!

Edit: **** it, he doesn't even have a character arc. After he gets stabbed he just stops being an *******. And considering being an asshle was his only character trait beforehand he essentially becomes a silent protagonist. He has no personality except the players.

Yeah if you want to ignore enough details you could get that. And I could turn Ezio into, like, Nathan Drake.

So is Altair and a ton of game characters. In fact Altair is your typical batman brand protagonist.

Altair is absolutely nothing like Batman. Altair is amazing.

Why? Whats so great about him?

Both have a deep voice to make them sound cool, both are dark and edgy broading protagonist filled(Altair mostly on this part and it really depends on the batman). Both are made to be silent bad asses. Both are gitty type anti-heroes(again depends on the batman). Both are bland(depends on the arc of batman you are reading mostly but generally true).

What you see as just an ******* was an incredible amount of arrogance that led him to misinterpret the creed, making him think he could do whatever he wanted. It isn't that he was just an *******.

As the game progresses he learns why the Assassins do what they do, because freedom for people is what matters. It isn't just "not an ******* anymore."

Then there's that past we don't know about that really interests me. And the future we do know of, him taking over the Assassins, changing their rules and writing the Codex Pages.

And then he proceeds to fight his way through a battlefield on his own to get to the King, defeats the last templar he knew of along with like a dozen other guys, and then goes and overpowers a Piece of Eden, on his own. No other Piece to help him out.

Altair >

Hell, maybe you don't care. I do. I much prefer him to Ezio, that for me is just some douchebag that happened to be led down a good path.

Altair >

Just like batman does with Superman.

What?

Him beating surperior oppenents to make him look badass. All in All Altair is batman brand material.

Except Batman is ****ing lame, and has no reason for being able to do half the shit he does.

Batman hasn't beaten Superman in years, though he does have a track record of doing shit no man should be able to.

Batman = bland? Really?

Batman used to be my favorite character of all time, ever, as of the last couple of years, I've soured on him.

All due to BatGod.

I said depending on the version of him. More example to the Infamous Frank Miller incarnations of him.

It's not as bad as it used to be, thankfully.

I give batman credit that he's able to more emotion's that Altair can't even hope to.

I just associate Frank Miller's and pretty much anyone who dick rides him a generally.

Bruce is just one of those people who's so damaged that he doesn't really know how to show emotion unless in extreme circumstances. Didn't stop him f*cking Catwoman recently though lol

You're mad to use Frank Miller as any kind of measuring stick, tbh, but yeah, I see where you're coming from.
