Necron Rumors:

Harriticus wrote:The Charnovokh Dynasty is mentioned as eaten mostly by Tyranids. This has pushed them into restoring ancient dolmen gates that connect their realms to the wider galaxy. This does put an end to the old speculation about Tyranids avoiding Necrons/Tomb Worlds in general.

The Nekthyst Dynasty are noted as traitors, turncoats and oathbreakers. The "taint of dishonour" still hangs heavy over them, and they mostly operate as mercenaries. Mercenary contracts are the only promise they never seem to break. What this also tells us (along with the teaser-trailer) is that Necrons apparently value treaties, pacts and honor quite a bit, to make such a big deal out of the Nekthyst Dynasty breaking them. In D&D terms, Necrons in general are definitely on the Lawful side of the alignment scale.

Thanatos and the Celestial Orrery. The Celestial Orrery is said to be one of the galaxy's greatest treasures. It has a small light for every star in the galaxy. Snuff out the light, and the star will soon follow.

LOL.

<stupid shit>

Is this supposed to be lore on the Necrons or something? Cause I thought that they were soulless automatons that have forgotten things like dynasties or honor aeons ago and wouldn't care a whit for it even if they did remember? And Necron mercenaries? I can almost understand Ork mercs, but... what?

I don't like Batman very much. What little I've seen of Asylum, which is very for someone who owns the game, not my cup of tea.

But I can get past my bias and see why people like it and City. ^^

Fair enough, though I'd argue that you don't really even have to be a fan of Batman (just a fan of video games in general) to appreciate either of Rock Steady's games for him. I mean, if there's a comic character I don't necessarily like, I'd still give a game of theirs a try if the gameplay and such looked good enough.

It didn't though. I didn't like the look of the game and the gameplay looked very meh.

^ You can say that about virtually any game. Personal opinion after all.

As far as this year is concerned, AC is still the best game to come out so far. There are a handful of great games coming out over the next 5-6 weeks, so time will tell.

Necron lore is being completely retconned into something else.

Which is why I specified it wasn't my cup of tea. ๐Ÿ˜›

Though it was a cup of tea with Batman attached to it. Not going to impress me very much. ๐Ÿ˜›

I know, I even had the words 'personal opinion in there'. ๐Ÿ˜›

Not just Batman though. There's Catwoman, Ra's Al Ghul, Joker & Mark Hamill attached to it as well. ๐Ÿ˜›

Portal 2 spoilers, BUT SO AWESOME.

The game came out line ten months ago. It can't be spoiled anymore.

The **** is the big deal about Portal?

No idea, personally. The graphics aren't very good, so the game must be horrible.

Scream, the big deal please. Because I couldn't see his post until you quoted it, and it's just stupid logic.

It's witty and simple and fun. Also truly ****ing hilarious. Very well written comedy is something I think you can appreciate.

I think I love GLaDOS.

But isn't it some shitty puzzle game?

Minus the 'shitty' part. The puzzles are really fun. "Why yes, I did just drop one hundred gallons of flubber on needlessly sentient gun turrets that can feel pain. Ah..."
