Who has hated on the idea? mmm

A lot of the moderators were hesitant for awhile, as well as some regular members, although as far as the latter is concerned they're irrelevent since they don't even participate in the vs. forum discussions.

I'm often confused how people can take aspects of language so seriously. I'm talking about the 'gay' thing.

Either everything's funny, or nothing is imho. Everyone's open to poking for the sake of humour if no actual malice is intended. I mean, look at Blax. 131

Nah, but seriously, maybe it's just the younger generation of gays/bis that didn't deal with as much prejudice, but most of the gays/bis I know are worse for it than I am. haermm

And honestly, if we're gonna crusade about one word, might as well crusade about all of them.

"Retarded" is another one.

Oh, and the term 'handicapped' is actually descended from something resembling a slur. 😐

And we'd need to rework our entire language of insults, too.

"You're a dick" is sexist, as is "You're a ****", these should both be "You're an *******."

Also 'childish' is agism, and bah. Alright, I'm done riding the slippery slope. Mostly because I'm a lazy mick.

I don't know, man. I think that getting a T-virus infection wouldn't be nearly as cool or amusing if it actually did happen to you, your friends, neighbors, family, etc. Or if someone like Wesker did manage to pull of his/her crazy scheme of the month. Otherwise, RE is almost entirely like IRL. Meh.

I know next to nothing about Bleach, but I still somehow doubt it's particularly nice to the common man or at least not any better than IRL. Basically, you'd probably end up regretting your choices the second you'd be placed in one of those universes.

Yeah, why would you want to live in the Resident Evil universe? Zombie Apocalypse doesn't spell 'inviting' to me.

Bleach isn't a bad idea though. So long as you're not a villain, you ain't dying.

But what's the position of your random, average Joe in the Bleach universe? Better or worse than IRL?

As a human theres a slight chance you'll be mauled by invisible demons, and when you die you'll either turn into one of said demons, go to hell or go to Soul Society. In Soul Society you'll be likely treated like a peasant in feudal Japan, or if you're lucky join the Soul Reapers, fight demons and then likely die (again). If you're really lucky, you'll have strong spiritual power and get prestigue etc. And likely die.

If you die as a human, you were probably cheating on your significant other.

No this is not stated, but I would not be surprised if that were the case.

Unless I'm not a Persona user. Then it's pretty much crap sack all the way.

No one dies in Bleach unless they're evil. Therefore, it's not that bad.

I'd live in the Pokemon verse, I guess. It's so safe that ten year olds can wander the continent alone and no one cares.

Looks like my choice so far is the only one that doesn't suck ass. At least Paste was smart enough not to name something like 40K.
