From what I've seen, Eldar are generally described as being, basically, faster, stronger and more durable humans. Not quite as strong as speyce muhreens but superior to your average guardsman in every way. I dunno how strong a Tau is without armor. Are they around human level?
But that aside, Dark Eldar have been portrayed as being pretty thick. Look at Lelith Hesperax's picture on page 51 of the DE codex. She's hardly skinny.
edit- And I take this moment to state once again that, my God the DE codex is amazing.

And I like how you're being a total smartass tonight.Welcome to the 20th century. They call it texting.
Britney Spears in her music videos apparently.
Tonight? I'm always a smartass. It's kind of who I am.
Texting is no excuse to not type properly. Many people manage to still use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation even while texting! And at any rate, this isn't a text message, it's a message board. So, you're still wrong.
And Britney Spears hasn't been relevant as anything but a trainwreck for like a decade now.

There is apparently some quote that says Tau are weaker than all other major factions, except Eldar.
That said, Dark Eldar are also described and portrayed as physically superior to their Eldar brethren.
Yeah, the Dark Eldar codex is great. Am hoping for similar goodness in the Black Templar codex. Would be a shame if Kelly decides to not give a shit like he did in the Space Wolves codex.

K, well the dragon I asked about last night. The first time it appeared in anything of mine, it was used to save someone held captive in another country. It flew across from the edge of their nation (about the size of egypt) to the nation (crossing a sea that about the size of the Atlantic from east to west) and to the building where she was (basically going across a landmass that's 2/3s of the united states). Got there in around 25 minutes, stopping briefly to engage enemies on the way. How fast would that be?
Trying to stay consistent with everyone/things capabilities.

Ugh, Necrons are just as irritating to fight in Dark Crusade as I remember. The Necron Lord is such bullshit. Good thing I'm not a strategy newb anymore. Force melee for your bitchass!
From what I remember going melee against a Necron Lord is a bad idea. Then again, it's fairly easy to break his morale. Kinda funny, a soulless robot shitting his pants after being shot at with lasguns.
The Necron Lord has that retarded solar flare ability that makes all units in a certain radius unable to use their ranged attacks. It's a ***** to deal with as IG, and almost as bad with Tau.
When fighting off Necrons as Tau in T1 the best strategy I can find is to tie up their units with kroot warriors while my fire warriors make them my ***** from a distance. If the kroot end up getting overwhelmed though it's pretty much a forced retreat for me.
