Same thing for the past few months. She was in for nearly a week back in October and they discovered she has pancreatitis, and now whenever she gets sick and calls the doctor they're like "GO TO THE HOSPITAL".
The stupid thing is that there's really nothing they can do but give her pain meds (which she can take at home just as well), so there's absolutely no reason to keep her there.

Ehhh, I hate Christmas anyway. Waste of a day (waste of a season, really), basically - there isn't and has never been any 'joy' to it. I'm more stressed about the fact that I'm trying to get everything together and set up for my little siblings so that they can at least have as decent of a day as possible, since they're still young enough to care.
Thankfully my mom should be home in the morning, though, and thank you.
