I am notAnd no. While he's ignorant of 40k in general, he actually has a known dislike and bias against Zelda and Nintendo in general, like he has some kind of vendetta or something. mmm It's kind of annoying to deal with when he makes illegitimate criticism, but when he flat out claims SS has noticable control lag or is worse than Phantom Hourglass? No. He's attacking it because the game's a big deal, nothing less.
It's kind of depressing your defending a critique of a game you haven't played yourself.
I was trolling before, but the notion that he is so supar biased against Zelda compared to 40k is blatantly false. ๐

I did. And you're quite wrong.
"A world without Nintendo would be a far bleaker one than this..."
Man that ****er sure is biased.
"For the most part the movement feels natural and there is something about being able to scribble on my maps that I found therapeutic..."
The damn cur.
Did he complain? **** yeah. But you cannot say he didn't acknowledge when the game actually worked. A truly biased person wouldn't acknowledge this.
"Look at me, up until now I thought Twilight Princess was pretty good and now my opinion worsens now that I see it was working from a cheat sheet."
ZOMG look how much he hated Twilight Princess!
And if you'll recall from my original statement, I never said he "liked" these games(aside from Wind Waker). But compliment them he did. And critique them he did. There is nothing that makes me believe he'd be any different with Skyward Sword. Would he make fun of it and criticize it? Well yeah. He does that with his favorite games. It's merely for the entertainment. And if he says that SS was the worst Zelda game he has ever played, that reflects his opinion of the game. Sorry if you don't agree with his opinion but it is his and I see no "ZOMG Bias" in his review.

He says straight up he didn't finish the game, which says more than a little compliment about being able to draw dicks on the map.

He does that with his favorite games. He picks out actual flaws with his favourites. Psychonauts he noted the odd difficulty curve an other small nicks, here he actually falsifies an issue and rips on the game nonstop, culminating in him stating it's worse than one he couldn't finish and another he'd bashed before ever having finished.

I got Skyward Sword, Batman: Arkham City, some clothes I needed, weights for when I walk, and stuff.
All over England, visiting the family =)
Nice you'll have to tell me all about batman when you're done, not sure if it's worth stretching my purse-strings for...
Weights for when you walk? Do I have to make the obvious Rock Lee reference jokes ? =3

Some new curtains? That sounds almost as odd as the toothpaste =p
With the toothpaste though... I can't help it but I might have asked "You trying to say something with these??" =P

The Halo series, you mean.
I know it is very fashionable to hate on FPS games, but that doesn't change that the campaign was stellar, and the story was about as good as multiplayer-based FPS games gets. The Arbiter was an awesome gai.
