Heh, Normally I stick to flat shoes too, I particularly like my campers =3 but when it's a formal event, being such a short ass is really frustrating, so high heels has always been a thing, almost out of necessity really.

Heh, EA, you're about the same height as my sister. I don't know where the hell she gets it from (both sides of my family are on the short end of things, but not that short), but she's like 5'1". Her husband is also really short (he's shorter than I am), and my mom made a joke that if they ever have kids, they're going to be doll-sized 😂

I don't go to many formal events 😛 Last one I was at was my manager's wedding, and my dress perfectly matched a pair of flats I have, and I had no heels that went with it...my mom was all "no no you have to wear heels!" It's like...why. I'm not that tall, they know I'm not that tall, and these shoes both match and are incredibly comfortable! I wore the flats 😛

Ugh I feel for her, my Dad is like 6'5" and my mom is 5'6" I guess there are other factors other than genes. I always just assumed it was because I'm a twin, since that's supposed to affect you physically or something but maybe it's more environmental or something. Awww, that's so cruel D= (but kinda funny too =3 )

Oh, guess it's an English thing or something. There's always a wedding or a silver/gold/something anniversary. It's fun for awhile after you 'grow' up. But it's quickly degenerates into a pain, that said, these shiny new shoes of mine add on 6-7 inches =3 I am normal sized! =D And nuts to that, I was told a long time ago by mother dearest heels where necessary to make sure no one has to speak down to you. At 5'5" I'd never wear heels. They look (very) pretty as far as shoes go, but some of the after effects are not! and heavens forefend if you have to go over any surface not perfectly flat >.<

I guess it's more 'logical' in my family: my dad is 6'5", I am 6'4" and my mom is roughly 5'10".
