I've only seen 1, 3 and part 2 of the last one, personally. I thought 1 was decent and enjoyed 3- thought the last one sucked balls though.

Thanks for giving me a reason to not catch up on the others. My sister likes to randomly throw "watch every movie in the series in one day" parties, usually alternating between Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. I've always dodged the latter either deliberately or by chance. Don't feel so bad bow.

1 and 2 were the best imo.

The rest were okay but forgettable. Save for a few things worth making note of.

I'm not sure if you guys are being ironic in saying that 1 was a good movie or not. It's where the Child Acting is at its worse. The only good thing is how hilariously bad it is.

1 just happens to have the best balance of quiet and active scenes that all come out memorable.

Like Aura said, acting doesn't make or break a film. If a movie is entertaining it's entertaining. As well, I was like... 15, when I last saw the first Harry Potter movie.
