I never paid that much attention to Sailor Moon before but thanks to Doug Walker's recent review, I realize the squad of girls I found attractive are either 13 or 14 years old so now not only am I questioning my sexuality while crying in my corner next to my Sailor Mars poster but the American Television Network looks even more stupid to me now than it was before. Apparently Sailor scouts Uranus and Neptune, the thankfully oldest out of the show's main cast to make me not entirely ashamed of myself, are a couple only in the Japanese version because nobody wanted any of that overseas and yet nobody minded the crotch shots of underage women with miniskirts flashing panties at the viewers. So what was a harmless relationship Americans found bad but found sexualizing young children okay. Ironically, Japan should be the one asking what the hell is going through America's head.
