I meant that Lion-O only doesn't fail cuz of his dumb magic sword. And he's still ****ed up a lot more than Tygra has. Anyone could have rescued them with the element of surprise.

The hero ****ing up makes him more relatable than a guy who is perfect. I.e both of them have made bets that wagered something very important and so it is equally reckless and stupid yes? Well no because Tygra won his bet even though his was actually them more reckless and stupid of the two. The show doesn't point this out but everything points that way.
Tygra is actually unlikable enough that his voice actor wants to hit him. 😛
No he doesn't. Tygra is jealous and envious of Lion-O but in terms of ability he never thinks he is inferior to him which is what makes his jealousy and envy understandable.
Lion-O flat out has one when he was fighting for his life. It's revealed that not only did Tygra think that the wrong son was becoming king but so did Lion-O.

Not for me. I mean sure I can relate to feeling out of place and feeling like the unfavorite but I don't go out of my way to make others feel like dirt by constantly showing them up and voicing a complete lack of confidence in their ability to do anything.
Mind you I don't dislike Tygra. I actually do like him. He is not worse than Mako by any stretch of the imagination. But he is not as "likable" as mister "I'll give up my soul for just a single chance to save my friends." Somethings are just hard to top like that.

Lion-O's easily the better leader/King, even if he isn't the better fighter. The guy's actions over the course of the series inspires most of the races of 3rd Earth to join forces with him after years of mistrust and separation.
Tygra would have and has failed miserably as a leader and King.
