Adventure Time is just much less plot and character heavy than Avatar. The early episodes are just silly random childish fantasy. I don't really know what he'd be talking about mostly.

Jokes and technical things like the aesthetic.

But yeah Adventure Time doesn't lend itself to discussion like Avatar.

So apparently Azula was right the whole time, Ursa really WAS a terrible mother. 😮

As well as just plain bad person.

Yep, apparently.... (as in I'm going off of tumblr and an early review) AVATAR SPOILERS DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SPOILED:

The reason Ursa wrote that Zuko wasn't Ozai's child was just to see if he was reading her mail. And you'll note that Ozai only starts shitting on Zuko after he reads the letter and thinks he's a bastard. And she never bothers to correct him on that. So basically all of Zuko and Azula's problems stem from her being stupid and neglectful. Nice one. 👆

And her location? Back in the village. She and Ikem were the people the Gaang had dinner with in the Search 2, just with their faces changed and their memories erased. Why are her memories erased? Oh she did that willingly. So that she wouldn't be upset over leaving her children and could start over with Ikem. She willingly chose to forget about her own children. Azula was completely right: She DID abandon them. Fvck you lady! 👆

It was more of a guess but I still got it right.

Oh no, shes portrayed in a completely positive manner (from what I've heard). Azula is the only one who gets pissed off of that. And apparently the comic shits on her for being selfish (lmao) and crazy.

So the comic still has shit writing that ruins a part of the old show but apparently not the best part.

So his mom is basically just a cowardly piece of shit that left her kids to the terror of an abusive father. Good to know.

The best part being that just because your family is insane that doesn't mean you have to be.

It still justifies Ozai's treatment of Zuko though. Which really just makes Ozai seem like less of a monster. But he starts burning down a continent and you realize no he is pretty much still evil.
