Not schoolwork, job work 😛
I work in a video game store and as it's nearly Christmas it's very busy. And I'm the only reliable person who knows what they're doing that's not a manager/assistant manager, so thus I am working a lot lately.
However, I'm definitely looking forward to my next few paychecks 😊

Well, I'm also in college, and do have finals very soon...but I'm doing online and independent study courses so it's easy to arrange my schoolwork around my job.
And I do love my job a lot, it's not very hard. It just gets stressful this time of year because people are so nuts and while we do have more people working than usual, there's a bunch of seasonal workers who really don't know how to do anything. And it's better than last year when I was new during Christmas, and though I knew how to do everything, I was still nervous about messing up because I was new.
And since I know everything and know how to do most of the stuff the managers do, and take on a lot of extra responsibility I don't need to and help out whenever it's needed...I can get away with a lot of stuff and get a lot of extra privileges. It's pretty sweet having first dibs on days off and extra hours 😛

Nice one, i should do something like that, get my leg on the work ladder while i do college, work experience while i study to climb up the ladder 😊
If you don't mind my asking, what are you studying? got plans for a job.
I'm not there yet, i was thinking something in games, but I dunno if making my fun my work is a great idea, who knows, still got few months before i need to apply for something.
So this time around you have experience with you, thats good. I hate not knowing what to do with myself. As i said though, good luck with work, hope your customers are too troublesome.

I'm studying psychology, right now my eventual plan is to get a doctorate and practice as a psychologist. That might still change, though, right now going into research or academics seems very appealing. At any rate, that's still all a long way off anyway, I don't need to worry about it that much.
I originally was studying art, but as art is my main hobby, I felt that if I found myself needing to always do it instead of doing so for fun I would run the risk of getting bored with it which I'm not sure how I could handle.
Customers are nuts but it's nearly Christmas. That's par for the course. Of course, they're always crazy, but through November and December it's like sanity just goes out the window ermm But I do genuinely like my job and am very good friends with all of my coworkers, we basically all consider each other like a second family.
That, and, ya know, I get games for cheaper 😊 😛
