Oh, I know that RPing in MMOs exists, though as a concept it's not one I can really see how it can work out. It's either, you're doing stuff, or standing around describing things. Nah, I prefer actual roleplaying.

Stick around for a couple of more years then. The plot is advancing, but inevitably reaching an end.

An expansion is told to come every second year. In a few expansions, the limit of the story is reached (The known story at least)

i like both but raiding isnt boring!! 😠 😛

it does get boring if you cant win and do high level raids but i think its great if your with a group of friends, unfortunaltey for me ive not got such a group atm

That's another problem I have with MMOs...not only do you need to pay more to play the game, AFTER you've paid for the game already...you need to shell out more for expansions in order to advance the "plot" at all.

And I say plot in quotations because really, it's so thin as to more or less be non-existant.

And yes, I like RPGs.

Thank you. There have been way too many expansions and crap like that in which you have to buy, which forces you to dish out $50-$70 everytime new ones come out.

Even though I agree with your points, I have to object with one thing.

The plot of WoW is deep. VERY detailed and very well made. It is clear, strong and fascinating 🙂

Meh i find it boring. You have to learn when to do what, but from then on, it's the same that for the next 50 raids until you get all the armor you were after, then Blizzard release the next set so the armor you spent days/weeks getting is now obsolete.

PvP, they release the set more slowly, so you get to spend some time in the top stuff. Just as it starts to become more common you can expect an update round the corner, much better for my taste.

Plus with PvP it's a pretty rare thing you have to do the same thing twice (unless your talking bout duels)

What's PvP?

PvP = Player vs Player

PvE = Player vs Enviroment, like dungeons, normal enemies etc
