Damn Dammit and Mother-f*ck3r, it would've been pretty sweet if you could do that.
I'm not sure what problem would arise from that. One could use the right analog to control the aim and the left to look down and up/right and left.
Plus the spartan just looks amazing in Halo 3. Watching a gameplay film from third person is sweet.
Logically, such a big ass gun would have a wicked recoil, not too mention it's huge so wielding it would be difficult.
And Halo :CE is totally awesome. You can ride motorcycles, fly pelicans yourself in mutliplayer, use halo 3 weapons even though it's Halo 1, use halo 3 vehicles and other vehicle's like Helicopters and stuff.
And you can download it for free ๐ฑ
You need halo 1 for PC though ๐ฌ

But like I said, I guess it's MOSTLY about having to sacrifice something (like a little speed) for the privilege of carrying a detached turret around in third-person. That's my guess.
Here's one of the maps you can play in Halo:CE
another user made map:
That's my favorite map.
And wtf is up with the black guy in the background crylaugh
Everything you see there is Halo 1.

The first one looks like a ghetto Super Mario Kart.
