I doubt it since one of Capcom's a major producer named Noritaka Funiizu retired to form his own game company. Funiizu, single handedly wrote the plot for Vampire Savior by himself and also was the man who maintained the Street Fighter canon. He helped produce Street Fighter 2, Vampire Savior, Rival Schools, and many other capcom classics in the 90's.
Noritaka and a the team that developed Street Fighter 2 left capcom to make their own company called Craft&Meister. It's the company that created Super DragonBall Z. Also, 2-D fighters suck now a days since many of them play like Marvel vs Capcom 2, Guilty Gear, and other hectic fighters like crazy. You'll be hard pressed to find a tradtional style fighter now a days. Most 2-D fighters are produced by small indy company's or are fan-made. There aren't any real major companies involved with 2-D anymore.
