Pretty ridiculous, I'd say. Anyone who don't agree that Kain=the most powerful character in gaming industry automatically gets declared a "troll",a "fanboy",a "person living on childish instincts" etc.

For example, I like Dante, but I don't claim he can beat, say, Silver Surfer or 2d\4th age versions of Spawn.

Kain could loose to practically anyone more or less, he's not that good at all.
