Oh man...not at all. Condemned is all melee and shit...
In Bioshock with the Plasmids...I can only begin to imagine the possibilities.
Although well...both games are designed to scare the crap out of the player so yeah...they are bound to be similar.
However from what little I've played of Bioshock I can honestly say it works better with the story pacing, atmosphere...heck even the sounds. I stood still for a moment when i wasn't fighting one splicer and I could actually hear in the 5.1 the water currents outside the city...and a bunch of shit that really gets you into the game.
I only hope the full game lives up to my expectations...and it probably will.

What got me about Bioshock was how well the atmosphere scared you. And yet at the same time it's not very scary, like for example when you're going down some stairs at one point, and you hear a Splicer guy arguing at his Splicer wife to let him back inside there "house", which is really just a kitchen. lol. And also the couples who dance in the puddles.
Claude owns CJ and Tommy. Though Tommy is close.
Yeah rofl.
I remember the couple in the kitchen...After I lighted his ass on fire and shot him with the revolver his wife came out all "Oh Noes!!" I kill her...then drink all the wine and run out to the bathroom all drunk just to see a ghost....taking a piss.
Awesome.
And the lady talking to the revolver as if it was a baby is priceless.
Agreed.
LoL...the revolver thing still cracks me up.
Here I find a non-hostile splicer....talking to a "baby" being all sad because they couldn't meet before and their fate was already written...I sneak up to take a close look and she starts whacking me...I suppose she is defending her child...I finally kill her out of self defense. I walk to the child to see what I can do for him/her...turns out it's a fricking revolver. I smirk...pick it up and start shooting crap down.
That's why I'm so hyped...I can't wait to see what other shit they throw at me.
