Woohoo, official off-topic thread!

Question.
Since my Pyron thread is against the rules 'cause it comics, why are threads with Loz, Kadaj and Yazoo allowed? They ONLY appeared iN FFVII Advent Children - A MOVIE.
Similarly, there are many threads using the AC Versions of characters - shouldn't that be against the rules too?

We've never actually come to a ruling on those, to be honest. It's a bit of a different situation than simply "so-and-so is in a comic book".

Well, the movies are canon...I guess it should be used because it's a legitimate part of the character and his/her abilities, right?

Yes. We're actually discussing it right now. But the basis is - while comics and such are not necessarily canon, Advent Children is. But, say, if there was an FFVII offshoot comic, that wouldn't be allowable.

So sit tight and we'll come up with something.

Okay, we've decided that the AC stuff remains, because it has the same level of canon as the game itself, and doesn't really build on anything new from the game itself.

However, this does not open the forum up to any other comics or books or offshoot media. AC is the single exception here.

Could you, like, post with normal colors? It's not exactly easy to read dark blue or dark green on black.
