Some people probably will. But you'd be surprised. There was a kid who I disliked during much of high school - he spent most of sophomore and junior year bullying me. My senior year, my school did the Day of Silence and a bunch of my friends and I participated. There was an idiot in one of my classes who started going off with a bunch of homophobic disgusting stuff, knowing we couldn't say anything. The kid I disliked, who made things hell for me for two years, ended up standing up for me.
