Woohoo, official off-topic thread!

I use different IM programs like Miranda, Digsby, Trillian or Pidgin at times. Digsby is probably the best, a great piece of software.

I'll re-install MSN soon, been busy doing a few related things that require more attention.

One of which I just completed.

I finally have XBOX Live.

Gamertag is OneFromBeyond people, so add me! And if I don't like you, I'll just block you.

MSN is the only messenger program I have and use. No one's used yahoo in about 10 years and I don't like AIM.

Out of those I have Halo 3 and Fable 2.

Gears 2's multiplayer is shitty if you're used to playing the first one. Really, it's only shitty in comparison.

Gears 1 has great multiplayer all-around though.

Not played Gears 2 multiplayer yet tbh, I'd play it more for the story mode in which it is far superior to 1, then again i gravitate more towards single player.

Hm, I'm a single player dude too honestly, which put me at a disadvantage when I invited friends over, they all used to pwn me at Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Naruto: Clash of Ninja. Not anymore though, heheh, I got better and pwn now.

I'm downloading a 5GB file at 90 kilobytes a second.

It's going to be a long and agonizing day.

And yeah it's been on since last night, it's not I can't do anything else while waiting, it's just bothersome that my computer downloads things so slowly. I know people who download torrents and the like at 600KB per second on average, whereas I've never gotten past the 300 mark.

Yeah, it's better to have a fast computer when downloading big files like that. The worst that can happen is if there's an error right before it hits 100%, and you have to download it all over again...

Fast internet connection is waaaaay more important than a fast computer when it comes to downloading things.
