Ohh yeah for sure. No more Link vs (X) Character. And if there are going to be any I urge the original poster and thread starter to please educate them self about Link and the Legend of Zelda game titles, and then restrict Link to a certain title or time line, what weapons, items he can use and so forth.

Saying "Link" is very vague and open to debate and it literally makes it fair game to use a composite Link of all his combined attributes and abilities.
