Then why didn't luthor do this on his own? Or how come dr. light or superman didn't focus thier energy thru Luthor. yeah, Only DS could do it. And only thru luthor. One the energy, the other the lense.

nah. The star didnt' kill him. You are the one who just said Luthor's energy was kryptonite to the Am. So WRONG. The blast from them was the nail in the coffin that was built by the Spectre and the PS. The Star was just a plot. Actually DS was the only one who could do it. He's the only one who had that lvl of Tech and that lvl of power. Or else someone else would have done it.
