Share band and musician stories

It's hard to find a good place on the internet were I can talk to other musicians about band related topics.I play out several times a month and am often left bitching to myself about topics about being in a band.Does anyone here have anything that pisses them off about their band?

They must not have been to eager to play.

My band is located in ohio and sometimes we do shows with only one days notice.We are happy to play show for the most part.That's kind of shocking.Were they nervous to playout?

My band plays only about 1 song a month in summer. We'll probably do two or three in summer. The guitar player and me write all the songs. I really hate being drowned out by guitar when playing local shows with some n00b on the soundboard. Vocals should be clear above the guitar, if they aren't it's got to be turned down. Plus, the guitar and me on the keyboard share lead duty so I should be just as audible on the keys as the guitar is. That's my rant about shows... Oh, and I need a keyboard strap so I can walk around damnit, but I can't find one good enough for a huge 88-key keyboard.
