My Manga/Anime

What are you talking about?

I have the names of some of my characters. Here are some:

Sadiki
Kaoru
Zouri
Kiyazki (something like that but I think I might change it)
Zero

What do you guys think of the names?

you must like the letter Z huh? 😂
they sound, i dunno, too overjapanesed to me 😆

That's the point, I want them to sound Japanese & there are only two names with the word Z in them.

its like if you named them Lee, Quong, etc.etc.

Zero & Zouri, that's two. Can you count? And I want it to sound really Japanese, that's the point.

Well, I'm working on my own manga, it was inspired by Dragon Ball Z but no, there are no magical dragons that can make wishes & bring back the dead. The powers are similar but that's all that will probably be similar to DBZ. My main character, Sadiki, is pretty much outgoing & loving & although he does love a good fight, he doesn't like to fight too much. He lives with his adopted mother & father but they never explain to him where he comes from. I haven't figured that part out yet either so no, he's not from outer space as his origins aren't completely worked out. The original idea behind the story was that Sadiki wanted to become stronger so he went on a quest to an academy where he meets up with other kids. But, the new idea is that he goes around the world looking for martial artists to teach him more & for him to increase his power. One friend he meets I'm not going to reveal the origin of because I actually like what I'm working with now & I don't want to spoil it. Basically, with my manga they'll be going from kids to adults. The manga will start with them being kids & of course, although it will end with them being adults, I haven't exactly figured out how the series will end. Also, I plan on having more depth into the stories so it's probably not going to be all fighting & "HOW CAN I DEFEAT THIS GUY?"

You're just all over the place and I already see a contradiction just in the opening.

Yeah.....unless you want this to turn out to be less than mediocre crap, I suggest you wait a lot of years until you're able to handle such a feat.

I'm able to handle it now, that's just somewhat of a rough draft. I'm still working on ideas & that outline is great so far.

Also, I'm not all over the place, I'm only working on the beginning of the manga which focuses on them being teenagers first which I may actually change if I can come up with something interesting.

I have five pages written for my manga & I think it's really good material but I don't want to reveal too much & spoil it for anyone who might buy my manga. I'm writing the whole first saga of my manga so that I'll already have it ready after I practice my drawing skills. I just haven't thought of a good name for my main villain for the first saga. It has to be good & fit the kind of character I'm trying to create: someone vicious & completely ruthless.

Cool. Is the main villain going to be a human or an alien?

An alien who is trying to rule the universe. His ambitions are similar to that of Freeza but he does not have four different forms & he won't be voiced by a girl if my show becomes an anime, lol. I've also thought of having Kyle Herbert voice Sadiki if I could get him to do it.

Yeah, & something really tragic happens to Sadiki, a very painful loss which causes something unusual to happen to him that has never happened to any Xerekian before....I think you're going to like what you see.

Oh & now Supernova is the official name of the villain & I doubt any changes will be made. Now all that's left is how he'll look which I'm not even close to figuring out.

I've decided to make my manga into one big story instead of having it in sagas, kinda like Naruto I guess. But I decided to make it into one big story because if there were sagas then they'd seem way too short so this is the best way for me to do it. I'm currently working on the beginning & the action kind of takes off quick. There a lot of twists & surprises that I think are very interesting.

I've began rewriting the story, I think what I'm adding is pretty good. I didn't really want to say anything but what the hell. You all know how Dragon Ball Z used lycanthrope except Saiyans changed to apes instead? Well, I'm using the same idea except Xerekians change into werewolves.

Sounds cool. At least you're drawing it yourself. So far I've realized waiting for somebody else to draw something makes it longer to wait. So since they have ki blasts basically are you going to name them?
