75% of America will become overweight by 2015

She's a Beautiful Disaster, even if she refuses to acknowledge the last vowel in each word of her username.

1. The way the US calls "overweight" is actually not as unhealthy as people think.

2. They're not that 75% already? Well I guess you do have to count the anorexics in the statitisc. It's funny, in the US you're either overweight or underweight, no one seems to be their so-called average.

that is really ridiculous... we need to change the eating habits of an entire nation!

What? I know about 30 girls (UK) all on average right now. It is possible to be avereage.

(BTW if you didn't count anorexics then it wouldn't be accurate!) 🙄

We are pretty darn close at 66-68 percent. (The 66% is an old static since it came around in like 02 or 03 so I estimate that we are actually close to 70% than 65% now.)

There are plenty of reasons why people will continue to be fat, and that's mainly b/c the minority of slim folks may not want too many people to be slim. Here's my experience:

I use to walk with confidence, overweight or not, but while I was working hard at the gym, I still projected confidence, why? B/c I would always try to do good things for others, my confidence was in my ability to do good things. Unfortunately, I wasn't well liked at my old gym, but I use to work out a lot and lost a lot of weight, maybe the skinner women were wondering how could i achieve so much attention, and if I did while being fat, then when I finished losing weight, it would be a bigger issue with them, it was full blown jealousy. Other overweight women who didn't realize how hard I was working out everyday or every other day, just saw that I projected confidence and started copying or mimicking that behavior. It's like a student being confident that they are going to get their degree, that's the kind of confidence i had, it was IN THE ACT of working toward the goal I had for myself, but my running everyday or so at the gym became a HUGE jealousy issue, and I didn't complete my goal partially b/c of the jealous-headed folks around me.

And if someone is wondering why the sudden spike in "overwieght" confident women, this is going to sound CRAZY, but look to Holywood movie and a recent book. As crazy as this sounds, Harry Potter came out and when I saw that movie, I wondered just how empowered poeple are going to be to exact the NEGATIVE in life, and also, to use their confidence to HURT people who don't accept them. And the book "The Secret", which basically tells anyone that project their wishes and force people to comply. I do have confidence but it's not based on bullying others. And although I did project good energy while overweight, I was also running my butt off at the gym and lifting almost 3 times a week or more. And i was accused of being an attention whore, when really, the guys at the gym liked me and vise versa, all we did was feed off of each other's energy, it was never about sex or promises, just working out. But again, i suspect some females were fearful of the fact that I was overweight and I achieved "attention", so what would I be after losing weight? And certain men who I wasn't giving attention to got very hot and jealous. Moreover, other overweight women WHO WEREN'T WORKING OUT, just saw the attention I was getting and found me to be a rival or some sort of leader of the pack of "just wish it and it'll happen for you". When in reality, I was working my butt off at the gym and just being friendly and warm. That causes a lot of jealousy and resentment toward me. And I am wondering how many others are or have been attacked this way. I'm vocal and I'll share my negative experience(s), but others may just put with it. All I know is if I was attacked just b/c I was getting attention WHILE I WAS WORKING VERY HARD TO LOSE WEIGHT, I can't image what would have happened if I completed my goal, and to think people are wondering why Americans are fat, really? Ask the nutty-buddy jealous people, and yes, a person can be thin or fit and still be JEALOUS-HEARTED NUTTY BUDDIES.

I was on about Americans being average. I know Brits are average. 😛 Also, how old are they? Because a teenager on average adult weight is actually overweight. I myself am just on the borderline of average with a BMI of 19.9 and am 15 years of age.

But like I said, what they call average isn't actually what you and I would call average. A skinny guy can be classed as overweight in America!

Re: 75% of America will become obese by 2015

I think we're ALREADY 75% overweight. ✅

We had height, weight, vision and auditory checks at school and it was specalised girls age 12-16 charts and they were 13-14 and the 30 I'm talking about were all in the average sector.
