Old School American Horror: Hatchet

I dunno if someone had already made this thread but whatever because with what I've been witnessing lately with horror in hollywood its made me sad but one movie is about to change all that.....Hatchet.

go to imdb.com to see the full detail of this morbidly grotesque masterpiece....in which I havent seen yet but damn do I wanna

Rated R for strong bloody horror violence, sexual content, nudity and language. (edited for re-rating; previously NC-17 for extreme violence and gore)

as you can see above on imdb.com it says that orginally it was NC-17 but had to cut gems of the film to get widespread showings....NC-17, about f*cking time! wait till the unrated dvd comes out

oh and did I mention that the main killer in the film is none other than Kane Hodder

This does look good, and it seems to be getting good reviews. I just hope it IS a good old horror film and not a torture porn kind of film because that genre is getting boring.

*bump*

Hatchet hits the silver screen Spetember 7th!!!!! I cant f*cking wait this movie is gonna be soooo badass.....oh sh*t I just creamed my pants.

Yeah, it does look good.

This reminds me of that one bud light commercial where you see a couple driving somewhere, and stop when they see a guy with a hatchet, holding beer, and the girl in the car tries to tell the guy to not let him in because he has a hatchet, so the guy says "Don't worry, he has beer.". And when they let him in, you see another guy with a chainsaw and the guy with the hatchet is all like "Don't let him in, he has a chainsaw!"

lol I love that commercial. 🙂

And guess who plays the killer? Kane Hodder. They should've gotten Tyler Mane tho.

Saw this movie off the internet a while ago because the closest location it was playing in near me was Louisiana!....but I'm so glad I saw the movie finally, the gore was amazing.....it didnt quite quench my thirst for blood but it tided me over for a while (at least it doesnt sugar coat the violence like the Halloween re-make did), but anyway the dvd release date is set for December 18th and expect a much more violent version on dvd because the film makers had to cut alot of film to recieve an R-rating (originally they got an NC-17 rating).....I cant wait.
