why do Wolverine and Spider-man have to be in everything? 😐

quicksilver
scarlet witch
giant man
iron man, all of whom are tenured ultimates.

but black panther?
bullseye? [a new hawkeye persona, maybe?]
spider-man?
wolverine?
sword girl?

and why do they all look so damn similar to their 616 counterparts? dumbasses are just going to think it's a new avengers book.

Wolverine's on the team? Well I guess I can except that since the xmen are now over.

Spider-Man? Give me a break Loeb. This destroys the entire point of Ult.Spider-Man's character. He's just a kid, so how the hell are we supposed to believe that he's now fighting global threats?

Also, some of the new costume changes are horrible. Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Ironman all look exactly like their 616 counterparts (oh and wtf is up with Pym's new hair out costume), which completely destroys the entire point of a more modern day Marvel Universe

I wonder whos Sword Girl? Maybe Valkyrie? I dont mind Wanda's costume, specially since shes been gone from 616 for a while now.

Spider-Man and Wolverine stick out like a sore thumb, they don't belong in the Ultimates.

He's okay with the costume change looking the same as the 616 counterpart because she has been taken out of the 616 universe.

it makes no sense in the "paramilitary organization bent on defending the world from superhuman threats" sense, even if they've gone rogue.

Well, if i actually thought this title was going to be good in the first place, i might be a little miffed at the roster. Unfortunately, or fortunately, i just don't care.

MAD's art is looking alright, though.

I'd can Wolverine at least, he should stick to Ultimate X-men.

The only one who looks even remotely good they're is Grifter....I mean Hawkeye.

I'll keep an open mind, but it's Loeb, I don't expect this to be aywhere ner vol. 1 or 2.

I dont have any qualms about membership, I agree some of the designs are too similar to 616. Mad's art looks pretty good though, but expect this to be delayed for a LONG time, Mad's one of the slowest in the business, even with his headstart.

It says it comes with an opposing villains team. Haven't we already seen a picture of Black Panther (and Wasp I think) fighting Venom? That's one villain who isn't an Avengers adversary, so he's a likely candidate ✅ Maybe there will be an X-men or FF villain for them to face as well???? ✅

spiderman must be in the team to learn not to be a wuss.
