Judge's Vote
Great match. Both competitors presented some very solid arguments. I'll just get straight to my decision for a change. I usually have a long drawn out explanation but I've been pressed for time lately and I want to have a drink and relax.
The main problem I have with Roldz method of attack is the fact that Carol Danvers' mind, which is not present, has the mental link to the white hole. It's not a "physical" link. I don't see how you can re-establish Carol's mental link without Carol's mind. Dane's mind doesn't have the link, and increasing Dane's mental powers in Carol's body, sans powers, in my mind isn't going to give you the abilities you're saying you'll get. As Devil Lance stated many times in his posts, Warbird is you body character and Dane is your mind. Binary's manipulation and connection to the white hole are psionic, it's true, but it's a link with Carol's mind. Unlike with a cybernetic body which would essentially be turned off as stipulated by Goob in the rules, having an organic body is a lot different as was spelled out. The symbiote doesn't have Carol's link to enhance. I'm just not convinced.
With that said, Devil Lance didn't really provide a manner in which he would put Roldz down after the initial post and spent too much of his time attempting to disprove Roldz attack rather than presenting his own. From what I see he also didn't provide any proof of his mental defenses with scans. This is what tipped the scales in Roldz favor to me.
So where as I don't think Roldz could unlock Carol's mental link without Carol's mind, Devil Lance didn't provide any proof of the defenses he possesses against TP, and unfortunately, if you don't present it I can't consider it.
Good fight DL, but my vote goes to Roldz. If you'd shown proof of Guardian's telepathic defenses it would have changed a lot, but as it stands with the argument and evidence you provided, you'd be vulnerable.
My Vote: Roldz 👆
On a side note, the misting away DL's armor is banned under the offensive matter manipulation rule.
