It's not PIS if someone is constantly shown to be superior in the skills department. Comics is something short of semantics to be honest. It seems as if Captain America trained to fight for only like a year and he's in the running as one the very best fighters in Marvel. 😬

In the Superman/Batman: Public Enemies" storyline, Batman managed to incapacitate Shiva in combat, as revenge for "the beating she gave Catwoman"; at the time, Batman and Superman were being attacked by a group of supervillains under the influence of Grodd's mind-control, so it is unclear whether or not Shiva was performing at her full capacity. In the comic, Batman speculates that she may be fighting of her own volition since she is a mercenary, though her behavior was similiar to the other villains who were mind-controlled. However, this defeat is questionable, especially since Batman had never been able to defeat her before.
Wonder Woman is a great fighter, but if you look at actual comic book feats, Batman has a winning record on Shiva. Not to mention Batman stalemated Cass in the sparring session while only using one arm against her for most of the fight. Hey, don't call me a fanboy, I'm only telling the truth.Wonder Woman is a great fighter, but someone who fights to survive and that's how they make their money (figuratively speaking) will be more skilled than her. They have to block, duck, dip, dodge, dive, elude, and avoid fists coming at them, thus making their training more effective. Wonder Woman can take a punch so she doesn't depend on that kind of stuff. Now, I'm only talking top tiers such as Shiva, Cass, Dragon, and Batman that are better than her (SCREW Karate Kid and his horrible jobber aura). However, there is no doubt in my mind that Wonder Woman is the better skilled warrior than Black Adam. This fight is close, actually a lot closer than a few would like to admit. But, it was not said that Black Adam couldn't use any magic lightning attacks, so for that reason, I say Black Adam takes it.

I'm just saying to me it makes no sense. I always chalked it up to them being all in all powerless.😬

Give the boys at Wikipedia my regards. 🙄 I'm afraid there's a little bit more to it than that. Things are always stated in comics, but actual feats contradict them. 😬

Didn't Shiva beat Supergirl?

It can be stupid at times, however a lot of things in comics are pretty stupid. We just have to take what's given to us in stride.
I completely understand why they don't have the heroes go all out but, when someone like Batman and Captain are surviving fights we know/ I wish would kill them it's kinda eh.😬
