Superman was getting his ass kicked bY DS in thier fight before that one as well. the only difference is Superman had help from Wonder Woman and from DS himself. now if you can provide a recent fight between the two, as in one of thier last two fights, where Supers can knock DS out in one punch, then fine. until then, you have been exposed. even doomsday couldn't knock DS out with One Punch. Doomsday couldn't knock superman out with one punch. Surprise or not, DS is just that strong. So now that we've exposed you and you have no defense against DS beating the Tar out of Superman, all you can do is say Superman didn't know there was an attack? Um, Superman has Super Speed and Super reflexes. It just so happens, that in the character's histories, DS has always been able to get the drop on Supers.

What you fail to see, is how much smarter Supes team is. DS would never even get close to Supes because Thanos would be on his ass in a heartbeat(we all know how this would go,Thanos for the win) Supes takes out Thor like he had done recently. The hammer alone when thrown travels at the speed of light, and the hammer can manipulate all forms of energy and teleport anywhere he wants, DS and Thanos will have a battle between each other, DS will teleport BA outside the universe like he did against his son Orion, all honestly it could go 50/50 depending who can capitalize on one another's mistake.
