How about that heat?

Started by Pandemoniac2 pages

We had a hail-storm here last 2 weeks ago in the middle of summer, I can't even remember what hot weather is like.

If the news says that the heat can potentially kill, then i'll stay inside, that aside i'm highly tolerant of heat. Minus the stinking heat from inside a car sitting outsides in the sun without the AC on.

Unless the "heat" are the police out looking for ya 😉

good point 😕

We've had so little rain here that I've been walking on crunchy grass. 🙁

How hot does it need to get outside before you say you will NOT go out?
For just hangin' out? Between 80 and 105. Above 105 I'll go out just to feel how extreme weather can get...same reason I go out when wind chills hit below -20, and during blizzards and thunderstorms (especially thunderstorms).

I go outside no matter what.

Its over 46 °c in greece and other parts of mid east Europe at the moment. Its alright if you actually live in a hot country and are used to it, but going off on holiday to such a oven heat is surely a torture.

I remember leaving the airport in Saudi Arabia (air conditioned) after arriving, oh that was a shock. It was over 50°c.But I got used to it after a couple of days.
