I might have 'found love' here, but I still say I'm single for the most part. I mean, we're not actually together, not actually dating or anything. It's a bit silly to say it's nothing more than a close friendship with someone I care deeply for, because that's all it really is at this point.

And to answer the original post: a lot of people on here have. Just not everyone likes to flaunt it around.

You did see that differently before, did you not?

It was made easier by greatly extending the amount of people you can meet, therefore making it more likely you will find a person you really relate to.

It's not wrong to go out and find a girl if you want, but it's not the only way.

Love doesn't exist on a forum.

Kids and Fantasy exist on a forum.

And that's one to grow on kids. You've just been learned.

Well, for one I have found love here, so it is possible.

There are also much more married couples that have met on the Internet nowadays. You can not really make a strong case for it being impossible to fall in love on the Internet, especially not if you include then meeting each other in real life, which is a possibility.

Meeting someone in real life is not superior for any real reason. How does a disco in any way give me a deeper emotional understanding of the person I met than this forum where we share many personal memories with each other?

I know and I agree with you. You can find anyone anywhere and that can turn into love.

For those people on here who are in a relationship with someone, congrats and I hope everything works out for you. But I really dislike "internet" relationships and the idea that someone can find "love" over the internet is ridiculous to me.

I'm not saying it can't happen because I have spoken to people on here that are in love but I couldn't be in a relationship with someone that I talk too on a forum and possibly on the phone. No offense but I just don't understand how a person can "love" someone over the internet when they more than likely haven't even met them yet. (Yes, I know there are exceptions)

In my opinion you have to spend time with a person and get to know them before you can say you are in love.

Well, that may be, but people can meet on the Internet and then in real life because of it.

And I really think that it is possible to love someone even if you have never met them in real life. You might say that you don't know whether they are fake (but you don't know that in real life either....you especially know that) but to a degree I think it is much harder to keep an act for such a long time on the Internet, you must be an excellent liar, so good that you could fool someone in real life just as easily...besides you can still be in love with the Character the person created.

I found that I love arguing with people. 😬

I wasn't saying that can't happen because I know you and Sanctuary have met and DE and Wild Cherry are going to meet in a matter of days.

It's not the whole "this person may be lying" situation that bugs me. It's more of the fact that I may know this person, but no matter how much you tell me on the internet/phone, I can never truly know you until I have met you.

Why?

That is a rather strong limitation on your part.

In fact I know more about you than about many people I have actually met in real life.

You really don't know a person until about 3 to 4 months into a relationship.secret

Maybe I'm just too cautious. 😬

Yeah...

Is that true?

How do you count the months? Also, what about people that never have a relationship together?

How could you find love on the internet? None of you people are real, you're all bots or some kind of computer program. I'm the only real person.

Yeah...

Everyone is different. There's no right or wrong answer. For you it's a no for Barbie its a yes. You're both right seeing as there's evidence that supports both of your views.

Are you saying you can't love a computer simulation?
