Dr. Fate I can see beating him with the speed force, but not Zatanna. She lacks the uber magical chops. Fate's got connections that she doesn't.

Well, all we can go on to see how powerful a Strange/Fate team would be is where they were one in the Amalgam's Dr.Strangefate. And...well....he was pretty much god in those stupid comics.

Of course, they had xavier's telepathy, but since both are better telepaths than X, it didn't make much sense.

Are you making the stipulations that the speedforce will do this? is there precident? does not magic need finese? would not a fireball still travel at the same speed? would not the spell itself still take normal time once it is cast? would she always go first?

I am not sure but this kind of thread can be hard to gauge.
i can see a double knockout...as a hundred spells are gathering from zantana the team beats her...but then her spells take them out lol,
