The Incredible Hulk

Im sure this new Hulk will be more pleasing to Hulk fans than Ang Lee's attempt - However I don't know if they've really improved on that Hulk's look until we see more of the new Hulk - One thing I think was spot on with Lee's Hulk was the sound of his voice and the bulkiness of his frame (not the size morphing though) .

I agree. It's still to early to fixate on a new Hulk look even with this trailer. And Ang's Hulk did looked impressive. The movie itself kinda bored me, but Hulk still looked good. Especially when he bursted out of that vat or water tank and just roared with all his might. He looked real when he did that. The water effects on and around him in that shot were amazing too.

This new hulk looks fresher though. He has longer darker hair and his muscles looked more ripped but only if he was bigger. I found his hip/abs area too slim.

but like i said it's still to early to be bothered by any thing. the Abominations face looks real too.

(and what was up with e. norton jumping out the heli and into the pavement at full speed from that high. He should'a been jello. he still wasn't the hulk?)

they both look incredible, to me. I kinda like the look of the comic book version a little better, though.

sick name, too. "The Abomination"

He wont even be called Abomination in the movie only Blonsky.

I agree that the Hulk looks far more ripped - but doesn't look "filled" out enough like Lee's Hulk.

Also I think in the trailer he has begun transforming as he approaches the ground (if you look closely).

I'm hoping for a video game of this movie! 🙂

why?

Most video games based on movies are crap unless they manage to get some good people to work on it.

They took that helicopter drop straight out of The Ultimates. crackers

well if this movie hulk game is anything like ps2/xbox/pc's incredible hullk ultimate destruction it will definately be good on next gen then:

: the hulk in the game looks crap tho , his muscles look too big for his frame and not in a hulkish way , maybe cos he looks short?

i still think they should of chosen 10ft for hulks height , why9ft?

As for the movie being incredible , i saw abominatuion chuck a car 'wow' .... not ! thats is not even a strength feat in comparsion to the comics i hope that thier strength is not limited to conventional vehicles and that hulk is far stronger than his ang lee counter part

I might point out that Robert Downey Jr is cast in this film playing Tony Stark so I wonder what role he has to play in this movie...

I don't think he has a major role - Eventually it will all tie into a new Avengers movie.

The sequel might rock, and be one of the best movies based off a Marvel comic book.I really hope it, cause after the 2nd FF movie, SM 3 & XM 3 I got really disappointed on the portrayal of the comics in those movies.
This time we got a Series A actor like Ed Norton taking up the role of Banner, Tim Roth as the frustrated KGB spy Emil Blonsky, and the psycological strugge of Banner and the lust of power of his nemesis seems to be exploited very well. What I don't really like at now, is the Abomination design, in the comics he rocked, now he looks more like a horror movie freak, sort of, instead of a gamma-mutated human. Also why call him Blonsky, when he has a supervillain name, even in the Ultimates series the Abomination got his trademark name.Really liked the end fight scenes, Banner dropping himself from the helycopter, which they took from the battle with Chitauri in the Ultimates series, where instead he was dropped with a kick from a SHIELD soldier. Also his will to use his "curse" to be a hero, and not a psycho monster who causes insensed wreckage, and to control it, much like when he last fought Blonsky after his release from Desert Base, and they fought in the city of Reno.26 Minutes of powerhouses beating the crap outta each other, after Cloverfield NY is gonna take another massive wreckage.
Hulk's new design is good to me, maybe he should be a bit more buffed and less ripped in the muscle design, but considering Banner now has more control maybe his physical transformation(size, durability, strength)is slower, not like in the 1st movie(which overall wasn't that bad)where he unconsciounsly tapped in his power to defend himself

i like this version of the hulk better. ang lee's hulk was so pretty. i mean the hulk looked like eric bana ffs. hulk should look like... the hulk. green, ugly, big and mean... just like this one. still, his trousers are a mystery...

Sam Raimi too 🙄

The Hulk looks great. He actually looks like the character i know from the comic books. I think Eddie Norton is a good actor, but, from the trailer, i'm not feeling him as Bruce Banner. I thought eric made for the perfect Banner. The trailer looks as though it will promise much action, but im not convinced that the writing and Norton will be able to produce a good character driven movie that Ang Lee offered in his vision. I am betting that this movie will give us the Hulk action we craved for while watching Ang Lee's movie, but will fail on the writing and direction that, he produced.

I completely agree, I just hope that I'm wrong. Either way I'm still watchin it on the first day...

I agree completely. I always thought the Ang Lee Hulk looked like a big man baby of sorts.

It's not a major role, it's a scene with General Ross. Just tying the movies together for the potential Avengers movie.

Abom from new Hulk movie...

An edit someone did.

I just wanted to add, that the Hulk looks great in this movie. He seems to have been made right, alot better than the last movie, IMO. Also, it seems that he and Abom will fight for 26 MINUTES!
