A Necessary part of the Hulk is the emotional and psychological trauma he has , as well as his own dysfunctional life. Indeed. Thats what happen with the other hulk movie it was more of Bruce Banner him dealing with the Hulk side and of course we did'nt get the smash and bash deal until over half way.

That's why the name of the film is 'The Incredible Hulk'. Hell, I wouldn't even mind if the Hulk got a movie where there was no Bruce Banner but then that movie would be the one to require a deep story.
