Janus Marius
Plo Koon Rulez!
I'll check it out. Do any major characters feature?
Mostly focuses on the jungle world of Drongar in a MASH type setting, with mostly original and IMO, very well fleshed out characters. Padawan Barriss Offee gets a good role, nearly as good as in The Approaching Storm.
No man can resist KMC for long, not even teh Janus.
This is true.
I really hope you don't think that Mace punched through durasteel WITHOUT use of the Force to increase his strength. I believe Maul to be the most capable fighter here, especially without the Force, as he is the most muscular and extremely skilled.
Most certainly Mace was augmenting his strength when he did that.
Maul is certainly deadly in martial arts, which is why he's in this tournament. However, I'm curious to see how you all think he'd stack up against the others. None of them are pushovers.
Phow Ji is perhaps the most distinguished solely in martial arts, though he's by no means limited to them.
"A former Teräs Käsi champion, Ji once defeated Jedi Knight Joclad Danva during a tournament on Bunduki.... Ji was also a master of Tae-Jitsu, and the Echani art."
In the Medstar book one, he's quite frankly as deadly as it gets. He defeats a military martial arts middleweight champ in exactly three seconds. He also kills three mercenaries unarmed, each felled with only one attack apiece. Admiral Bleyd, a Sakiyan who was able to butcher a professional knife fighter unarmed, thought that a battle with Phow Ji might end in either a loss or a Phyrric victory for himself.
Brianna is noted as being an Echani fighter with latent Force ability. Her father was Yusanis, the best duellist of the Echani, and her mother a Jedi. It's not too much of a stretch to say she's formidable.
I know Anoon practiced Teräs Käsi to an advanced degree, and he's no pushover either. And both Obi-Wan and Mace Windu received Jedi unarmed training. Obi-Wan's in particular, is covered in detail in The Cestus Deception.
